My first art book, Outsider, documents mixed media artwork on paper that took me more than three years to complete. Each page is enigmatic of my journey. From living on the Osage Reservation moving to the Cherokee Nation, Washington, DC then off to Japan for graduate school ... and beyond. The heart of my artwork deals with issues and ideas about empathy and existence.
The colorful images were originally created on 22 x 30 inch paper with Japanese inks, spray paint, stencils and sumi-e ink.
Outsider is available for download or purchase on iBooks, here, or blurb.com, here.
