I am an artist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, who works in film, installation, painting, drawing and digital imagery. The heart of my artwork deals with issues and ideas about empathy and existence.
I grew up on the Osage reservation in Oklahoma with my Cherokee Grandma. I eventually went to college to study political science and Japanese. At a very young age I decided that my future would involve being a local leader that was trained internationally. I draw inspiration from the philosophical and aesthetic influence of my studying in Japan where I went to graduate school for international affairs. I left Japan and went to work for Lucent Technologies - Bell Labs. From there I moved to Santa Fe, NM to pursue various public service leadership roles in nonprofits, and Tribal, state, and city government..
